The three sloped sections help books slide into position if others are taken out and the remaining volumes will neatly lean towards the next one. This will keep your books looking prim and neat rather than battered and bruised. The shelf is also angled to slightly tilt backwards and hence will provide best view of all book titles even for smaller books. All shelves can easily be re-arranged and spaced according to individual requirements.
